Benedikt Westermann

I’m a PhD student at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim (on the banner you can see Munkholm which is a small island in front of Trondheim). My working place is at the Center of Quantifiable Quality of Service, or in short Q2S which is one of Norway’s Center of Excellences. I started my PhD in June 2008. My research focuses on anonymous communication in low latency networks and their security aspects. I’m also interested in all computer security related topics.

Prior to my PhD I studied at RWTH Aachen University in Aachen, Germany. I finished my Diploma in the beginning of 2008. For a short while I worked at the University of Siegen in Germany at the chair of computer security led by Prof. Dr. Dogan Kesdogan. He is one of my supervisors of my PhD. My second supervisor is Prof. Svein Knapskog.
